Lifetime Warranty

Last updated: [20/08/2026]

Cedar was chosen to build because it endures. We hold our pieces to the same standard, and we stand behind them for life.

What Our Lifetime Warranty Covers

Every Cross & Cedar piece is covered for life against manufacturing defects. If a fault in materials or workmanship appears at any point after your purchase, we will repair or replace the piece free of charge. This includes:

  • Faulty clasps, links, or settings;
  • Stones that come loose due to a setting fault;
  • Defects in construction or assembly present from manufacture.

What Our Warranty Does Not Cover

Our warranty covers how a piece was made, not how it is treated over time. The following are not covered:

  • Natural wear of the finish, including fading, dulling, or tarnishing of the plating through everyday use;
  • Scratches, dents, or bending caused by normal wear;
  • Chains or clasps broken by pulling, snagging, or force;
  • Damage from contact with perfume, lotion, cleaning products, chlorine, saltwater, or other chemicals;
  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, or improper storage;
  • Any piece repaired, resized, or altered by a third party;
  • Loss or theft;
  • Pieces purchased from unauthorized sellers.

About Our Finish

Our pieces are finished with a plated surface over a base metal. Plating is a finish, not a permanent layer — with daily wear it will gradually soften and change over time. This is normal for all plated jewelry and is not considered a manufacturing defect. Following the guidance in our Jewelry Care page will keep your piece looking its best for far longer.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Write to support@crossandcedar.com with:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase;
  • A description of the issue;
  • Clear photos showing the problem.

Our team will review your claim and, if approved, arrange a repair or replacement. Where a piece is no longer available, we will offer a comparable replacement or a refund.

Your Statutory Rights

This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not limit, the legal rights granted to consumers under the laws of their country of residence, including the statutory guarantee of conformity applicable in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
